Hybrid Private Lessons
The Hybrid Private Lesson Program is an eight-week training course designed to teach both on-leash and off-leash obedience. Each session is one hour per week, scheduled at your convenience, and led by one of our certified or master trainers. During each lesson, you’ll learn how to work with your dog on a specific command while building confidence, structure, and a deeper understanding of canine behavior.
With every session, you’ll receive a detailed outline that includes:
- A clear definition of the command
- Step-by-step instructions to properly teach the behavior
- Follow-up exercises for reinforcing the command in real-world scenarios
This package also includes ongoing access to our team of expert trainers. If questions or challenges arise—during or even after the program—you can contact us at any time for guidance. Complimentary remediation sessions may be available depending on your situation (pricing may vary based on travel distance).
Commands Your Dog Will Learn:
- Place: This command teaches your dog to go to a designated spot—such as a bed, crate, or mat—and stay there until released. It’s especially useful during household tasks, mealtime, or when guests arrive.
- Sit: A foundational command that helps instill discipline and focus. Your dog will learn to sit and remain in position until released.
- Down: Unlike place, the down command can be used anywhere. It teaches your dog to lie down and stay calm in a variety of situations with the right training and consistency.
- Come: One of the most essential commands in any training program. A reliable recall can prevent dangerous situations, such as your dog running into the street or getting lost. This command is practiced thoroughly throughout the course.
- Loose Leash Walking & Heel: Your dog will be trained in two walking styles. Loose leash walking promotes relaxed walking with no pulling, while heel requires your dog to stay closely beside you with more structure. Both styles include an automatic sit when you stop walking.

Paul has changed our life in the best way possible. He really does speak “dog”. During our first conversation he gave us invaluable tips on our upcoming trip since our dogs didn’t get along the best. Now our dogs know how to walk on a leach, heal, stop when I stop, sit, place, and down. Paul really has given us our home and life back.

We recommend that people enroll in our puppy development courses as early as possible to take advantage of that crucial state of 8 to 16 weeks when the pups are the most impressionable. Getting professional help at this young age significantly lowers the risk of bad behaviors forming and causing problems later on in the training pipeline!
That answer depends on the reason for training. If your dog is scared of new places, we recommend in-facility training since we cover the problem for the call in the training.
